Spiderman: Far From Home sets a new record at the Indian box-office

After a long wait post the announcement, Marvel has finally come with their very own Spiderman offering. India has become a rather serious market for Hollywood films with Marvel films in particular having gained popularity in the last few years.

Spider Man Far From Home

Spiderman: Far From Home kicked off its journey at the Indian box-office on a positive note but came across a slight dip post the weekend. The film was able to add Rs. 4.65 crore on Monday and Rs. 3.15 crore on Tuesday. The collections were better on Wednesday (Rs. 3.40 crore) and Thursday (Rs. 3.35 crore). Currently, the total collections of the film stand at Rs. 61.21 crore.

We expect the collections of the film to take a further drop with the release of Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30. It will be interesting to see if the film can cross Captain Marvel’s lifetime collections which stand at Rs. 84.20 crore. Spiderman: Far From Home released in India on July 4 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu and has already proved to be highest grossing Spider-Man movie in India.
