Vikas Bahl’s directorial Super 30 released last Friday and the film has been doing fairly well at the box-office. Starring Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur, the film revolves around the story of mathematician Anand Kumar. The film opened well at the box-office as it earned Rs 11.83 crore last Friday followed by Rs 18.19 crore on Saturday and Rs 20.74 crore on Sunday. The film has maintained a good hold on the box-office during weekdays as well, on Monday, the film earned Rs 6.92 crore followed by Rs 6.39 crore on Tuesday, Rs 6.16 crore on Wednesday and Rs 5.62 crore on Thursday making the grand total a whopping Rs 75.85 crore. Super 30 has crossed the Rs 75 crore mark smoothly at the box-office and is now eyeing entering the Rs 100 crore club.
Hrithik essays the part of Anand Kumar in the film, who trained 30 underprivileged students every year to help them crack the toughest entrance exam of the country.
