Mission Mangal leaves behind Batla House in the race of advance bookings


Akshay Kumar and John Abraham are set to battle it out at the box-office starting tomorrow. Their respective films Mission Mangal and Batla House are clashing at the box-office this Independence Day and both the actors seem to be excited more than nervous about locking horns. According to early reports Mission Mangal has already earned Rs 9-Rs 10 crore at the box-office because of the advance bookings, while Batla House is still at Rs 5 crore approximately.

This clearly shows that Mission Mangal is currently ahead of Batla House in terms of box-office numbers. The Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Kriti Kulhari and Nithya Menen starrer is expected to make around Rs 30 crore on its opening day at the box-office tomorrow. On the other hand, Batla House that stars Mrunal Thakur along with John is also expected to rake in good numbers though it might be less than Mission Mangal.
